From Brian McRae - “My mom Marjorie Cox (born & raised in Dunn, NC), and my dad Ivan McRae Jr (from NYC) standing outside a Bennett College building, likely her dorm, dated March 1944.
She entered Bennett in '42, graduated in '46.

My father was in Air Corps cadet training in Greensboro when they met at a campus function. He later moved on to Tuskegee where he earned his twin-engine pilot wings on December 28, 1944 with class 44-J-TE."
