Jon Hearn provided this information about the group: The Clouds of Joy gospel group is mentioned many times in The Chatham Record and The Chatham News papers from 1976 to 2004.
They celebrated their 42nd anniversary on Oct. 17, 2004 at Pine Hill United Church of Christ on Silk Hope Liberty Road.

The obituary of Mr. Larry Junior Fox (died 07-15-2017) mentions that he sang many years with The Clouds of Joy.
