Linda Simmons-Henry
Linda Simmons-Henry , author, archivist, community activist, born and raised in New Bern, NC.
When she became a certified archivist, she was the first certified African American Archivist in the State of North Carolina.
Simmons-Henry is a retired Dean of the library and archives at St. Augustine University in Raleigh, a Senior Certified Archivist and Historian at LSH Consulting Service for Historically Black Colleges and Universities. She is also a member of New Bern Historical Society and served on the State Historical Advisory Board for 1993-1997.
Linda Simmons-Henry is also an AKA, Chapter: Sigma Tau Omega.
